On average, you'll receive your album in 4-6 weeks. The faster you send us your photos & any revision requests, the faster we'll be able to get your album to you!

You'll receive a link to preview your album design within 1-2 weeks depending on the album length.

Most of our customers use iCloud or Google Photos to either (a) invite us to a shared album or (b) send us a link to an album.

But we also work with Dropbox, Amazon Photos, photographer links, and more.

No! Expert photo selection is included in your order. Our professional album designers know to skip over your random screenshots, and will choose the best image from the 24 different faces you captured of your kids at breakfast (for example). Same goes for weddings and other professional albums.

IMAGE CURATION POLICY

You may share up to a set number of images (as noted below) for consideration in your album design at no additional cost. Your designer will curate your images to select the best ones to fit the length, subject and style of your album.

• Small Album - share up to 500 photos
• Medium Album - share up to 1000 photos
• Extra-Large Album - share up to 2000 photos

If you would like to share more images than the included amount, a curation fee of $10 per additional 100 photos will be charged.

Captions: The easiest way to add captions is to add them in during the editing phase. Our online album proofer allows you to enter notes anywhere on your design, which your album designer will then place on your page layouts. You can also send us a list ahead of time of any special memories, milestones, or highlights and your designer will refer to that list while designing your album to add captions or event titles where appropriate (for example: Trip to Colorado, First Steps, Rehearsal Dinner, etc.).

Long-form Text: Sometimes we receive requests to add long form text to albums. The answer is Yes! Your album is completely custom, and we can add any text wherever you may like. Some examples of text we’ve added to albums include a news article, blog post, song lyrics, poem, and a year-end summary of your family’s year.

2 rounds of revisions are included in every order, to get your design just right. If necessary, additional revision rounds are available at $50/round.

Of course! Shortcake Albums make personal, thoughtful gifts for parents, grandparents, and loved ones. Order additional copies of your album from $140 each.

Yes! Rush design is available from $100.

Yes! Domestic shipping to US addresses is included in your package pricing. International shipping is available for an extra fee. (Varies by country, contact us for a quote.)

You are very welcome to mail your CD to us (and we will return it to you!), but if you are nervous about putting your only CD of treasured photos in the mail, we understand. Here are some options:

1. Make a copy. Burn a duplicate of your CD and mail it to us.

2. Pop your CD into your computer and copy the files to a flash drive. Then mail either that or the CD to us.

3. Upload your photos from your CD to an online photo site, such as Dropbox or Google Photos. Then send us a link to your online photos.

4. Use WeTransfer to send your photo files from your CD to us.

5. Take your CD to a local tech services store (try Staples or Geek Squad) and have the files copies to a flash drive.
